I loved writing this one. In Murder in London, Rosa and nervous flyer Miguel Belmonte go to London in order to attempt to solve the cold case involving one of Rosa's childhood friends.
Not only are Rosa and Miguel finally together, but he's about to meet her parents, the famous investigative couple Basil and Ginger Reed.
London is the city where most of the Ginger Gold mysteries are set, but this is the first time we see Rosa as an adult there, and the city as it was in the 1950s rather than the 1920s. Writing Ginger and Basil in their later years was interesting for me and having Ginger and Rosa work on a case together felt rather poignant.
Watching Basil and Miguel together was interesting too, the two men as different as cricket and baseball!

It's early 1957, and Rosa Reed and her new beau Detective Miguel Belmonte fly from California to London to follow up on the cold case: the murder of Rosa's good friend Lady Vivien Everleigh.
The investigation is complicated, if not awkward, as the deceased is the sister of Rosa's former fiancé. Thankfully, Rosa's parents, Ginger (aka Ginger Gold of Lady Gold Investigations) and Basil Reed are there to help.
Rosa stumbles onto a dangerous truth. Can she find her friend's killer and save her own life too?
