It's 1956 and WPC (Woman Police Constable) Rosa Reed has left her groom at the altar in London. Time spent with her American cousins in Santa Bonita, California is exactly what she needs to get back on her feet, though the last thing she expected was to get entangled in another murder case!

My mom and dad got married in the 50’s.
I was born in the 50’s. I am sure it was a fun time to grow up in the world. I was too small to appreciate that. I saw a lot of history in the making. Good times and bad times. Harry S. Truman was President when I was born. I heard at school the news telecast of Kennedy’s assassination. The 1957 Chevy was during my birth year. Times were tough for many, but they didn’t feel deprived because it was hard for most people and they took it in stride and made the best of it. There is a quote, “These were the best of times and they were the worst of times.” Not much different than today, except we didn’t blame our problems on everyone else. We just knew it was a part of life so we hitched our belts up a little tighter, dug in a little deeper, and worked a little harder. And we were happy.
